Beth Whitaker-East, age 47, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2016.
She was born to Grant and Jean (DeStazio) Whitaker, Sr. on April 8, 1969. Beth was a 1987 graduate of Springfield High School. Beth's greatest joy was being a dedicated mother to her two children. She also dearly loved her dog, Casey.
Beth was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Kevin Whitaker. She is survived by her son, Ryan (Aaron Laird) Morton and daughter, Brooke East; father, Grant Whitaker, Sr.; siblings, Terri Gott and Grant (Lou Ann) Whitaker, Jr. and many nieces and nephews; also Brooke's boyfriend, Robert East.
Friends and family may visit from 2-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
